YouTube star and WWE wrestler Logan Paul has challenged soccer legend Lionel Messi, who some people are doubting his fitness, to a boxing match.

The fight offer comes amid a legal battle between their energy drink brands, PRIME Hydration and Mas+.

The energy drink feud

Logan Paul and KSI launched PRIME Hydration in 2022. The drink quickly became popular and secured partnerships with major sports teams, including Arsenal and FC Barcelona.

Messi introduced his own energy drink, Mas+, in 2024. However, PRIME accused Mas+ of copying its branding.

The dispute took a legal turn when Mas+ sued PRIME, claiming the brand forced them to change their design. PRIME responded by countersuing, alleging trademark infringement.

The legal fight has been heating up, but Logan Paul now wants to settle things in the ring.

Logan Paul’s bold challenge

In a video posted on social media, Logan Paul directly called out Messi. He said via Goal.com,  “Brother, you copied us. Everyone saw it. And then we got sued? That’s not justice.” He added, “We countersued, obviously. You can’t beat the best, so you try to be the best. But that’s illegal.”

Paul then made an unexpected proposal: “I will consider dropping this if Lionel Messi fights me in 2025. I’ll see you in the ring, brother.”

Will Messi Accept the Challenge?

Messi, known for his football skills rather than fighting, has yet to respond. While the idea of the soccer icon stepping into a boxing ring seems unlikely,  it will be more funnier if he accepts it.

However, Messi should just ignore Paul, respond with humor, and let his lawyers do their thing.
