The Real Salt Lake Elite Development Program (EDP) is set to kick off in 2025, offering a unique opportunity for talented young soccer players.

Tryouts for this exciting program, open to players born between 2011 and 2014, will take place on February 1 and 2 at the Zions Bank Real Academy Training Center.

A tryout fee of $100 applies, with registration available at RSL.com/youth/discoveryprogram.

Now, the EDP focuses on two key objectives: identifying the top young players in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona and fostering their development.

Once selected, players will undergo 12 intensive training sessions led by Real Salt Lake’s MLS Next Academy coaches and former MLS professionals.

This program, tailored to pre-academy-aged talent, emphasizes technical development to prepare players for the next level.

The training sessions will take place on Sunday evenings over ten weeks, with a $700 participant fee.

Financial assistance is available to ensure accessibility for all eligible players.
