Tyler Adams delivered a standout performance as Bournemouth stunned Nottingham Forest with a dominant 5-0 win on Saturday, extending their unbeaten run to 11 Premier League matches.

The U.S. international recorded two assists, leading his team to victory in a match that cements Bournemouth’s place as serious top-four contenders.

Adams wasted no time making an impact, assisting the opening goal by Justin Kluivert just nine minutes in. He later set up Dango Ouattara’s third goal, contributing to the winger’s incredible hat trick.

Adams’ influence was felt across the pitch, completing 81 percent of his passes, winning five of six ground duels, and registering the most successful tackles in the game.

Despite Adams’ stellar performance and an 8.9 match rating, Ouattara claimed the Man of the Match honors with a 9.6 rating, thanks to his hat trick.

Still, Adams has been crucial to Bournemouth’s current form, helping them sit just one point off the fourth spot.

After overcoming early injury setbacks, Adams has started in three consecutive matches, contributing to a 5-1 FA Cup win over West Brom, a 2-2 draw against Chelsea, and now, the demolition of Nottingham Forest, who were third in the Premier League standings before the match.

What next

Bournemouth’s next challenge is against league leaders Liverpool, and Adams will be looking to continue his excellent January performances.

His form will be key if Bournemouth hopes to defeat the first and second-placed teams in consecutive weeks.

This victory underlines the importance of Adams to Andoni Iraola’s side as they chase a potential top-four finish.
