Inter Miami is nearing a deal to bring Argentine striker Tadeo Allende to Major League Soccer on loan from Celta Vigo, reports BeSoccer

The 25-year-old forward, who joined Celta Vigo for €4.5 million, has struggled to establish himself in Spain. He made just three appearances this season, scoring twice.

The potential move would reunite Allende with an illustrious group of teammates at Inter Miami. The club already boasts stars like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba.

Before his Spanish venture, Allende showed promise at Argentine club Godoy Cruz. He netted 15 goals and provided six assists across 80 appearances for the South American side.

Celta Vigo’s coach, Claudio Giraldez, has used Allende sparingly. The striker appeared in only one league game, and two Copa del Rey matches since his arrival.

The transfer aligns with Inter Miami’s strategy to strengthen their attacking options. The top management sees Allende’s versatility across the frontline as valuable to the team.

What next for Celta

For Celta Vigo, this move represents part of their squad restructuring plans. The Spanish club aims to trim their roster by moving players who aren’t in Giraldez’s plans.

The loan deal would run until the end of the current season. Allende remains under contract with Celta Vigo until 2028, allowing both clubs flexibility in future negotiations.

This potential transfer marks another significant move in Inter Miami’s ambitious project. The club continues to build a strong South American presence in their squad.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest both clubs are working to finalize terms. The deal could provide Allende a fresh start in North American soccer alongside world-class teammates.
