The Houston Dash have signed Swedish midfielder Evelina Duljan for the 2025 NWSL season.

Duljan, who won the 2024 NWSL Championship with Orlando Pride, becomes the eighth new player to join the team this year. She brings valuable championship experience and versatility to Houston’s squad.

Dash President Angela Hucles Mangano praised the signing via the club media, saying, “Evelina is a talented young player with a championship mindset. She will be a great addition to the team.”

The 21-year-old midfielder played for Orlando Pride last season, appearing in eight regular season matches. She also featured in the NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup, where she scored her first goal for Orlando against Racing Louisville FC.

Before coming to the NWSL, Duljan played for Juventus, winning a domestic cup in 2023. She made 23 league appearances for the Italian club and played a key role in their U-19 squad, helping them reach the tournament’s final four.

Duljan started her career in Sweden, signing with Kristianstads DFF at just 14 years old. She later spent time on loan with Växjö before moving abroad. She has also represented Sweden at the U-17 to U-23 levels, earning her first U-23 cap in 2023.

Perhaps Duljan will be a key player in Houston’s rebuild. For now, it remains to be seen how she will fit into the Dash’s system, but expectations are high.
