In one of the fastest deals this summer, Chelsea have signed Pedro Neto from Wolves.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea will pay an initial fee of €60 million, plus up to €3 million in bonuses.
The Portuguese winger, who has been a long-time target for Arsenal, will now be wearing Chelsea blue at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal miss out on Pedro Neto
Neto’s time at Wolves has seen him make 135 appearances, during which he scored 14 goals (Transfermarkt). Known for his pace and dribbling, he quickly became a fan favorite at Molineux.
However, his frequent injury issues have raised concerns about his long-term fitness. This may have influenced Arsenal’s reluctance to pursue him, allowing Chelsea to step in aggressively.
CS opinion
Watching Neto join Chelsea is frustrating, as we have missed a proper backup for Bukayo Saka. We waited too long to make a decisive move, and now another target has slipped away.
However, we can derive some consolation from knowing Neto’s injury record. His potential absences could have been a problem for us. In the end, perhaps missing out on him isn’t as big a loss as it seems.
For Wolves, this transfer is a huge financial boost, but it leaves them with a gap to fill as they look to strengthen their squad.
